VCD Bajakan vs Asli

Kenapa gambar VCD bajakan lebih jelek dibanding VCD asli walaupun title filmnya sama?

Sekedar teori:

VCD bajakan isinya dikompresi lebih tinggi dibanding VCD asli. Ya, memang VCD bajakan biasanya 2 CD juga, tapi tidak berarti tiap CD full 650MB kan?

Kenapa di-kompresi ulang? Biar duplikasinya lebih cepat. Kalo VCD bajakan tiap2 CD cuma keisi 70%, berarti mereka bisa produksi hampir 50% lebih cepat dibanding kalo duplikasi 1-to-1 VCD asli. Dan prosesi kompresi ulang inipun cukup sekali aja, buat bikin "master".

Make business sense?

Mungkin perlu beli VCD asli dan bajakan 1 title. Terus bikin ISO, lihat ukuran file nya beda gak.

Hubble Is Getting Serviced

Hooray!!

After the sad news that Hubble will be left to die before James Webb Space Telescope can be launched, NASA apparently has announced that they will service Hubble. This should make Hubble last until at least 2013 when JWST is scheduled to launch.
